Chaos Sparaxis Sparaxis tricolor and Freesias
Last year I left a Sparaxis seeds to mix with some of Freesia I had, I put them to soak 24 hours as always and I planted trancazo a little. I think they've gone all the seeds and truth is that it has gotten out of the thing. Right now are in competition to each other and Freesias are the big hit. When you sow these seeds leave a space of a few centimeters among those to not over-sowing chaos.

Javier
send us your photos Sparaxis tricolor of which are much larger than last year. Have already begun to bloom by giving your garden a touch of color in winter. Plants were grown in Santa Brigida in midlands north of Gran Canaria and are perfectly suited to the climate of the area. Reproduction by seeds is very simple and the flowers bloom the first year. The copyright of these photos will belong to the author of them not being subject to the Creative Commons in our blog. Thanks Javi for the photos and your comments.

Gladiolus
already out of the ground is the first "sword" of the year, we are in the third season of these gladioli "colvillei" so if all goes well in a couple of months we will have the first flowers and its new exhibition development will have no problems like last year. It is a variety that requires several hours of direct sunlight for the flowers to develop fully.

How To Prevent Cookies From Getting Hard
Phalaenopsis basal shoots
While growing orchids is quite easy to reproduce is another story. Reproduction by seeds as we can forget all orchids because it is very difficult. Vegetative reproduction is more simple, being possible keikis and more rarely by basal shoots, as in this case. As we read in several articles and we have seen us, the natural production of keikis and basal shoots usually associated with severe developmental problems of the orchid. In this case a few weeks to receive the outbreak had to make an emergency transplant the orchid and began to have serious problems from dehydration due to the mismatch of the plant.
